A mode calculator identifies the value or values that appear most frequently in a data set. The mode is one of the three main measures of central tendency, alongside the mean and median. How to Use This Mode Calculator

How the Mode Is Determined

The calculator counts how many times each value appears in the data set using these steps:

  1. Count the frequency of every distinct value.
  2. Find the highest frequency.
  3. The mode is every value that occurs with that highest frequency.

If the highest frequency is 1, no value repeats, so there is no mode.
